The Battle of Chickamauga was the second bloodiest battle of the Civil War. On the second day of the battle Private Jacob Miller was shot in the head near Brock Field. When Miller regained consciousness he discovered he was behind enemy lines. Miller was determined not to be taken prisoner and started walking himself off the battlefield.
His amazing ordeal was written down for his family, and is brought to life through animations in this short history documentary. Private Miller's ordeal is probably the most amazing story to come out of the Battle of Chickamauga, and possibly the entire Civil War. Truly an amazing piece of history.
